5 minutes of caring
Go State!
Visit your local State Park! When you go to visit your local state park this weekend, explain to your children the importance of "take nothing but memories; leave nothing but footprints." The natural habitats for many plants and animals are protected in State Parks and it is important that we remember this as we admire the wildlife. We are visitors in their home for a time. One of the biggest reasons for extinction in species is the destruction of their natural habitat. Use this trip to the State Parks to teach your kids about animals in their natural habitat and educate them about conservation.
