Educate your family about another world.

On most days, we feel that our families are safe and secure here in America. However, many women and children in Rwanda (and other African countries) do not have that luxury. Organizations such as Sisters Of Rwanda exist to change that. Teach your kids about Rwanda today. Pull out the encyclopedia or globe (or just see what comes up via a Google search) and show the kids where it is. Talk about its history. When we teach our kids about continents other than our own, we help remind them that the world does not end at our coastal borders.
