About That Thing...
Continue to ask if someone's doing okay. Do you remember your friend who gave birth a few weeks ago? How is she doing now? Or what about when you had your kids call their grandmother to she how she was feeling? Isn't it about time for another call? Think back to when someone close to you shared a concern and follow up with them today. It's easy to remember someone when big events or hard times are fresh in your mind, but it's always important to stay in touch. When your kids see you follow up with someone, they'll learn what compassion and consideration look like.
