Children Vote for President! 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
|
Children learn all about democracy and the election process when they vote for president of the United States!
Kids enjoy this interactive voting experience by casting their ballot for president, designing a campaign button, making a stovepipe and Uncle Sam hat, and filling-in their very own voter registration card. A separate election will also be held where children vote for their favorite civil servant - a fireman, policeman, nurse or teacher. Kids also play presidential games, work on a collaborative mural, respond on the Kids Talk Back board, and listen to famous presidential speeches. This museum program only takes place once every four years - during presidential elections. Don’t miss out! Election results will be tallied and sent to the media. The event is included with museum admission.
