Sexual Assault Advocate Training 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

The Partnership is hosting a Sexual Assault Advocate Training on Monday, October 27th from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Partnership's Center for Family Services. This is a free training, made possible by the Office for Victims of Crime Training and Technical Assistance Center.
The training is intended for volunteers, victim advocates and victim responders in order to prepare them to better understand the impact of assault on victims and their families. The training is facilitated by Ms. Debra Burton, a Victim Advocate with the Broward County Sherriff's Office. Ms. Burton has over 17 years experience as a victims services facilitator covering hate crimes, domestic violence and cultural diversity.
