Nashville Zoo Celebrates Reading on Fridays in November 10:30 a.m. – 10:50 a.m.

Nashville Zoo is celebrating reading every Friday in November with a wild story time hosted by a Zoo staff member and some very special friends, like Nashville Zoo mascot Twiga.
Celebrate Reading presentations will take place at 10:30 a.m. rain or shine in the Zoo’s amphitheater, so come dressed for the weather. Program length is 15-20 minutes. Stories will vary from week to week, and light snacks will be provided. All story times will be enhanced with special elements, such as puppets, music, costumes or giveaways. Celebrate Reading is included with Zoo admission. • Nov. 7: “The Caterpillar and Pollywog” by Jack Kent • Nov. 14: “Do Frogs Wear Fur?” by Michael Dahl • Nov. 21: “The Great Smoky Mountain Salamander Ball” by Lisa Horstman • Nov. 28: “Fish is Fish” by Leo Lionni Nashville Zoo is accredited by the prestigious Association of Zoos and Aquariums, assuring the highest standards of animal care and husbandry.
